About

Lori Faiella is a New York based actress and audiobook narrator with a background in theater and film. Originally from Washington, PA or WASHPA, as some call it, located 30 miles south of Pittsburgh, she feels at home in both NYC and Pittsburgh. Except for sports. It’s still black and gold all the way!

The WorkShop Theater Company and the many wonderful people she met while working there have been her ‘Cheers’ of theater in New York. Currently the WorkShop and its spinoff ShopTalk are still going strong and development of new plays and community connections continue.

A fun fact: From The Top, a play developed at the WorkShop was recently published by Next Stage Press and she is happy and honored to be listed in the originating cast. So exciting!

She also enjoys producing. She produced Voices, Pertinent & Timeless, a reading series presenting the first three Pulitzer Prize-winning plays written by women for Women’s History Month. Other production credits include Life, Death and Baseball ( a wonderful night of one-acts), Priscilla’s Neurosis, a Samuel French Festival Finalist and a growing list of audiobooks.

She has recorded over a dozen books and after a hiatus spent saving for a sound booth, she is now happily back to work in her quiet Scott’s VO booth and is looking forward to recording many more books!  Being involved in stories and exploring characters’ relationships is what brought her to try audiobooks.

Other interests include learning to play the piano, writing therapy poetry, puzzling and dancing to a wide variety of music, blues and 70s being favorites.  She also loves cats and dogs and has been adopted by a number of furry felines!
